Greetings to you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We hope that we could put forth our vision and mission in a better way through this site.

“Shelter ministries” is the outcome of prayer and hard work.  It was born in the year 2004. The very purpose of the mission and organization is Church planting. When we say Church planting we mean a proper Bible based Church planting, a Church that is Christ centered, a Church that would live to see the second coming of our savior.  We hardly see Christ centered Churches in this modern age so we are very specific in planting such Churches.
As you move forth you can see the slogan of our ministry, which is “Faithfulness is greater than successfulness”.  The master of all creation wants faithful servants to work in his vineyard.  If you read in Matt 25:21, we could clearly see that our Savior Himself appreciates the faithful deeds of His servants because He Himself is faithful.  We strive towards our Goal with an attitude of faithfulness.

At this time I would like to share a brief experience of mine, which is relevant to this note.  I was born and brought up from a non-Christian family. In the year of 1996 I tasted the love of God within me.  From that day of my salvation I was spiritually nurtured by many of the outstanding spiritual leaders of today. I would like to mention some of their names for the glory of God. Rev. Jaykumar the Founder president of Bible Believing Churches and Missions, Bangalore. Rev. Devdoss the coordinator of Bible Believing Churches and Missions, Mettupalayam and Pastor Lawrence the founder president of Intouch Fellowship, Coimbatore.

After some time I found myself in the field ministry which eventually become a turning point of my life.  I could clearly discern the spiritual vacuum, which I found in the hearts of the Christians who go to church.  I could see the churches weakening without the pure teaching of the word. I was broken when I started to think on the spiritual condition of the forth-coming generation. I determined and committed myself to teach and preach the word of God accurately.  As by the Lord’s vision to us we planted a Church, which eventually paved a way for the birth of shelter ministries.

Shelter Ministries has various ministerial wings for all age groups. Church Of Sinai,  Aloe Fellowship to reach the youth, Angel’s Club to reach the children, Voice Park to reach music lovers and Capstone Theological School to raise-up the second-line leadership.

Shelter Ministries doesn’t encourage subordination; we work in the sprit of coordination. Remind us in your prayers!
