The evangelical philosophy of Shelter Ministries is contextualized  and Christ centered. We give the first preference to the word of God in our evangelism, because the scripture says know the truth and the truth will set you free. According to the evangelical philosophy of Shelter Ministries we follow the eight-fold principle when we attempt to lead an individual, family or a community into Christ. The eight-fold-principle is followed by:

• Get to know the individual, family or a community.
• Pray & look for the new contacts.
• Use the contacts to gather a group of people.
• Have a prayer-cell among them.
• Use the chronological teaching method to make known the truth.
• Baptize the ones who positively respond to the truth.
• Train the baptized ones with the solid teaching of the word of God.
• Encourage their initial involvement in the daughter Church Planting process.

The above-mentioned method of evangelism can be changed according to the context of the people and due to the cultural barriers, but the methodology will remain the same. The evangelism is the only way to win souls for the kingdom of God. You can even be a part of winning souls for the Lord by joining your hands and hearts in this venture.
